A long lasting, easy to maintain, hypoallergenic floor is easier to achieve than you may think. Ceramic, laminate, hardwood, and vinyl are among your potential solutions. But, all require an inordinate amount of time to accomplish - time that you may not have if you're trying to live in the house.
Using the bare concrete slab that is under your tired carpet, we will patch cracks and tack strip divots and usually lay the base coat completely on the first day. That evening, you can walk on the floor.
The following day, the accent glazes are applied in one, two, or three colors and two coats of water-based high gloss clear seal completes the job.
A basic three color floor with clear seal costs about $3.25/square foot installed. Cleaning is as simple as a dry Swiffer and a damp sponge mop. No harsh chemicals are needed - just some elbow grease for dried stains. Every few years, a refresh coat of clear seal is recommended to maintain the floor's ideal appearance.
