Revitalized Stools

In the case of these three pieces, they used to serve time in my apartment when my boys came over. I was never terribly fond of the plain wood, but they were more about function than form.

As the kitchen redesign was mapped out, the existing "country" stools had to go. They were a complete clash with the house's decor but without a viable alternative, they remained. Time to recycle.

Some sandpaper, primer, and paint resulted in three "artsy" pieces that changed the look of the bar between the Cucina and great room.

The cucina sign shown elsewhere consists of three colors (paprika, moss, and honey). I used each of those colors as the base for one stool, then the remaining two as mist-coats.
